Wii Memory Cards and Virtual Console Games?
Hey I was just wondering. I'm going to be getting a Wii soon and there is so many VC games that I want to download onto it. Does the Wii eventually run out of space? Like say I download 60 VC games and I also play 50 Wii games on there how do I fit all this into the Wii? Is there certain memory cards I have to buy? Or how does this work?
Thanks =)

Any SD Card up to 2GB worked in the Wii originally, but with a firmware update about half a year ago, it now supports SDHC format, which goes up to 32GB. The Wii's internal storage memory is only 512 MB, about half of which is reserved for firmware and system use, so you never see it.
How much space the games you want depends on the game. Outside of sports games, most game saves are only going to be in the 50-100 KB range. NES games are similarly small, with even the biggest ones only being like 500KB. SNES games were usually 1-2MB and the biggest was 8MB. N64 games were usually 4-16MB, with only three of them requiring a 64MB cartridge. Wiiware games tend to be in the 40-80MB range.

The wii has a very small 512MB of free space.
Lucky you can copy all your channels to the SD card and play them off of the card using the SD Card Menu
