Hounds tooth pattern..is what you are talking bout..I guess.
Otherwise known as 4 and 4 checks, with a very peculiar pattern. Earlier only manufactured in Black and White, these days it is being manufactured in a couple of other colors aswell.
A very popular fabric among English hunters back in those days, have become a staple of sorts in mens wear offlate.
There are loads of patterns manufactured, retailed in India, that donot have a HINDI name as such.
Moreover, it is not popular locally, because it is made with wool.
