Isn't It Time To Move Off The Nobel Peace Prize?

My God, really, how many times can we ask the same questions. By the way, I'm a conservative who believes this is a sham...but c'mon...really....let's move on!!!!

Your right, a sham pulled off by Obama to boost his ego again, we will have something else to talk about next week

I bet he goes for the humanitarian award next.

One more thing and I will not talk about the peace prize I wonder how the families of service men and women who have died in the war feel about the man responsible for their deaths winning an award.

It's just crazy, especially in light of the fact he was less than 2 weeks in office when nominated.

I think people are just trying to figure out how his award makes any sense at all.

Even he said he didn't deserve it, but he accepted it didn't he?

I suspect people need to vent due to the frustration over the insanity of it all. But then people put things into perspective and move on.

Considering the right is reeling from the idea that they can't impeach Obama, and they just threw a tubby fit at the fact that they told the world that Obama had lost the support of the world by not getting the Olympics, that he comes up with a significant, prestigious award from across the world, is galling to them.

The Nobel Peace prize isn't given for just ending wars, and in this case as in Wilsons, its not achievement, its for setting the stage for diplomacy to assume primacy in foreign relations, instead of a Texas shoot'em up.

Us answer addicts will milk it as much as possible until the next big story comes along. It is just the way it goes here in Yahoo land. Some of the jokes have been pretty funny.

It's just so perfect for Obama. An empty award for accomplishing nothing. All image and no substance...that's him exactly. empty hope ,empty promises, empty words, empty President.

The Vatican is going forward with the canonizing process of Obama to Sainthood....bypassing the fact that he's NOT deceased.
