What is the angular speed of the tip of the minute hand on a clock, in rad/s?

Update:

I figured the minute hand completes 1 revolution in 3600s so tried solving by taking 2*pi/3600s but that answer was incorrect, anybody tell me where I went wrong?

Update 2:

Thanks for the help but that is actually the same answer I got and it was wrong, still trying to figure it out......

You are on the right track, but you need to divide 1 revolution by 3600 seconds giving 0.000278rev/s. Then:

    0.000278rev/s = 0.000278rev/s(2πrad/1.00rev)

    = 0.00175 rad/s

    Hope this helps.
