A DNA nucleotide will have an -H attached to the #2 carbon, while an RNA nucleotide will have an -OH. This difference is the basis of the name of DNA: deoxyribonucleic acid, because the oxy is not present (compared to RNA: ribonucleic acid).

Well, if it has uracil in it (U), you know it's an RNA molecule.
