should i buy a gift for my baby shower host?? hostesses?
My sister-in-law is giving me a shower next month & I'm unsure of proper etiquette. I thought I might buy her a candle or something from bath & bodyworks. 2 of my friends and my mother wanted to help & now have a task or 2 each.(cups, napkins, etc,) Does that make them co-hosts and should i now buy them each a gift? I want to show my appreciation without over spending & don't want to offend my host...or is it hostesses??

For one of my showers, my aunts and little cousin did most of it. I got them each a gift, flowers for my aunts and a stuffed animal for my cousin. My aunt's sisters also did a few things like one made the cake the other the invites. I brought them each a smaller flower as appreciation. They were all appreciative.

Why not get a picture of the "host" with the baby and frame it and give that as a gift?
But, as for who you should buy gifts for... If you're tight on money, just buy for the person who was originially hosting the shower. Makes things easier for you. :)

Normally your friend or family member is throwing you the shower out of love. No need to buy them gifts. You need to save all the money you can for your new little bundle of joy.

You should only buy a gift for the original hostess, and only if she throws you a GREAT babyshower!
Good luck and congrats on your bundle of joy!
