How to deal with all the expectations upon you from others?

Okay, i am a muslim, i have to fullfil my Duties upon Him. i am a wife, i have duties upon my husband. I am a mother, i have duties upon my children. I have neighboors, i have duties upon them. i have a teacher, to fullfil duties to. I have a muslim ummah that expects a.lot of me, i am living in a non islamic enviroment that expect a lot of me.

I feel i can't anymore. i can't deal it anymore. If i leave some of my duties behind, it can have a great impact, such as leaving the salaah, divorce or i would walk behind on my study..

Why is there not a ummah that is strong? That would understand instead of making a huge fight with hand over a human mistake? Where is the compassion?

help?

I tell everyone "don't expect much so they will never be disappointed."

    Just kidding....

    Breathe Sister.....

It is alot on your plate. Go take a few minutes for yourself. A hot bath does wonders. Then make wudu and pray for strength and patience. Cry to HIM until the tears are all gone. You will not look so "hot" but a cold towel will help with the puffy eyes and clogged nose.

Let it go.. Allah will not put anything on you, that you and HE can not handle together. Call on HIM when you need help and HE will come. Remember to thank HIM for being one of HIS chosen and the ability to do so many wonderful things. The only reason you have so much is because HE knows you can take it.

Life is not a burden, but you yourself are a burden.

See Life in a different light, under the light of the fact of the life of Hereafter. Its not so bad in Hereafter for Allah's servant.

Pray, my dear sister, and your prayers shall be answered, but do not let the Devil allow you to whisper to you and win in saying "Relax, take it easy, leave your salaah, and resume it later, just take a break for a while", such temptations should not be allowed in your head.

You must be patient and strong. I pray for you Inshallah.

Easy. Break their expectations sometimes. Do it intentionally if needed. Make them understand anything can happen from your side. Nothing to be sure. It is good for all.

I simply ignore everyone's expectations of me.

    It's much simpler that way.

    Impress yourself NOT others...
