  • Why would not be the earthquake in Haiti be a punishment from Allaah?

“Say: ‘He has power to send torment on you from above or from under your feet, or to cover you with confusion in party strife, and make you to taste the violence of one another.’” [al-An’aam 6:65]

Abu’l-Shaykh al-Isbahaani narrated from Mujaahid concerning the Tafseer of this aayah, “Say: ‘He has power to send torment on you from above”: (this means) al-Sayhah (the shout or tumult), stones and strong wind; “or from under your feet”, (means) earthquakes and being swallowed up by the earth.

“And whatever of misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned. And He pardons much” [al-Shoora 42:30]

“Whatever of good reaches you, is from Allaah, but whatever of evil befalls you, is from yourself” [al-Nisaa’ 4:79]

“Did the people of the towns then feel secure against the coming of Our punishment by night while they were asleep? Or, did the people of the towns then feel secure against the coming of Our punishment in the forenoon while they were playing? Did they then feel secure against the Plan of Allaah? None feels secure from the Plan of Allaah except the people who are the losers.” [al-A’raaf 7:97-99]

Al-‘Allaamah Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: “Allaah sometimes gives the earth permission to breathe, which is when major earthquakes happen; this makes people feel scared, so they repent, give up sins, pray to Allaah and feel regret [for their sins]. When there had been an earthquake, some of the Salaf said: your Lord is warning you. When Madeenah was struck by an earthquake, ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab (may Allaah be pleased with you) addressed the people and said: if there is another earthquake, I will not stay here with you.”

    ==================================================================

Why or what would be a other Islamic reason that Allaah sends a earthquake to Haiti?

How many people go to there to commit fasad? Why would you not make it as a reminder that Allaah could also send a punishment?

Why would you send money to Haiti, to support them in their kufr and zina'?

And somehow the money that was promised to be send to the Palestian people would be send now to Haiti? Have you forget the people that has more rights over you in the eyes of Allaah?

    Soebhan Allaah.

  • Why is it that we take the presence of angels to lightly?

Look, i see people always asking about djinn and how to get them out of your house. But i see never see people asking how to get more angels in your house. When the hadeeth comes that "there would not a angel entering the house when....." there comes such behaviour in the spotlight like "who cares, whether there would not be a angel entering my house".

Soebhan Allaah, is it that those people don't understand the meaning TO HAVE angels in your house? What for benefit it for them brings? Or just because they don't have a idea what angels are and what they could do?

Soebhan Allaah, how more you become to know about these unseen creatures how more they are welcome, atleast in my house... Soebhan Allaah and how more i want to leave a house, if i would know that there is not a angel entering that same house. If you close the door for angels for what are you opening the door to? Do they think the same space (where normally angels would stay) stays empty? That it would not be filled with djinn?

I feel my stomach has turned and twisted and shaken all the way arround... How to protect our children?

Evil has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of men have earned (by oppression and evil deeds) that He (Allah) may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return (by repenting to Allah, and begging His Pardon. (Q. 30:41)

  • How to handle this feeling?

Okay i am a mother already. i have 2 children. i am 25 years old and i have this feeling within my body to get pregnant agian. Financial is it no problem, but only the mental part is for me a issue. The thought to go into this stage of pregnancy, delivery and breastfeeding is keeping me back. I have breastfeed both of my two children for two years. And now i am trying to stop the youngest one with breastfeeding (he is now 27 months old).

My husband is wanting more children, but we have to wait because of his medical condition is aproved good to make me pregnant agian. Since he is been treated with heavy dangerious medicines for his Hepatitis C. He has stopped 5 months ago with the program and over a month his sperm will be tested, so we can hear hopefully the results are good and not harmfull for me or for the foetus. Otherwise we have to wait agian for 3 till 6 months.

In the meanwhile, i have regular menstrual periods and i feel my body is ready to carry a child agian inside. I feel recovered from the last (normal) delivery and i feel no connection with him (the child) in regards with breastfeeding. But as you can understand mentally i am not 100%.

I hope you can understand what i am saying and my question clear is.

Salaamu alaikum wa Rahmatu Allaah wa Barakatuh,

Okay, today was the first day of fasting for me of the first 9 days of this month Dhul Hijjah, alhamdulillaah. I expect my menstrual period in this 9 days. So can i repeat the fast (that i have missed in this first nine days) later on the month after the Eid al Adha and Ayaam al Tashreeq (the next 3 days after Eid al Adha)? Like the 6 days of month shawwaal? Or are these only to the first nine days?

  • Okay a serious question, so children stay out please?

Salaamu alaikum wa Rahmatu Allaah wa Barakatuh,

I have this situation or i made it my situation, since it involves a young child that can't fight for herself (she is 4 years old)..

This child is one of the friends of my daughter (she is almost 5 years), Soebhan Allaah, she loves to play and be arround us, since her family isn't muslim. She loves to come to our house and to "pray" with me and my daughter (just the movements). At first, i didn't found it strange or anything. But the thing is, everytime i mention to her that her mother comes over 30 or 15 minutes to pick her up, she freaks out. Today agian. She hide herself under the bed.. My husband had to drag her out of there (since i was talking to her mother by the frontdoor).

When i spoke to her mother, that she had hide herself, she replied that is a common thing. My daughter went down to the frontdoor, but this child (as my husband said) was so affraid to be turned over to her mother (every mother knows that face). Ya Allaah, every child is "happy" to see her/his mother after 2,5 hours (they are free friday afternoon). But she freaked out stamped with her feet, cried and yelled, that the mother came so frustrated that it was painfull to close the door. When i spoke with my daughter (before today), she told me that her mother yells at her that she is a burden to her.. that her mother made her the black sheep of the family. Because her youngest child (aswell a girl) of 3 years was a angel. Today i asked her about home, she was blanc, the answer to most of my childish questions were 'i don't know". Do you make little fights aswell with your sister? (when my daughter had a fight with my son) i don't know. Does your mother give you french frites? No, i have eaten it once in the Mac Donalds.

Really i saw this child looking for mother love. She was so lovely when she heared of me that i loved her feesabillah, not knowing what feesabillah means, but the words i love you, made her as a butterfly. That i fear for the child that something is not right in her home. Understand that her mother was HAPPY that her child was away as she hoped she stayed at us for longer time.. A kafira happy that her child plays with the daughter of a niqaabi muslim woman!

What is your advice in this situation? What should i do? I do not want to close my eyes and pretend nothing happens.

    Salaamu alaikum wa Rahmatu Allaah,

  • Sisters how do you feel about this?

    Salaamu alaikum wa Rahmatu Allaah,

If you commit something wrong, not specific haraam, just wrong in this dunya, than (you feel) the whole world has to speak about it (did you saw the niqaabi sister yelling on the street??) but if you see something wrong even in Islaam it would be haraam, you have to close your eyes/ turn your face away and ask forgiveness for her/him/them...

  • How to deal with all the expectations upon you from others?

Okay, i am a muslim, i have to fullfil my Duties upon Him. i am a wife, i have duties upon my husband. I am a mother, i have duties upon my children. I have neighboors, i have duties upon them. i have a teacher, to fullfil duties to. I have a muslim ummah that expects a.lot of me, i am living in a non islamic enviroment that expect a lot of me.

I feel i can't anymore. i can't deal it anymore. If i leave some of my duties behind, it can have a great impact, such as leaving the salaah, divorce or i would walk behind on my study..

Why is there not a ummah that is strong? That would understand instead of making a huge fight with hand over a human mistake? Where is the compassion?

    help?
