I feel my stomach has turned and twisted and shaken all the way arround... How to protect our children?

Evil has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of men have earned (by oppression and evil deeds) that He (Allah) may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return (by repenting to Allah, and begging His Pardon. (Q. 30:41)

    Yes - where was the ever present writer of the rule book to allow this to happen? The way people on here talk I didn't think this sort of thing could ever happen but it just goes to show that all this religious business doesn't really make a ha'porth of difference - and before you all start, I HAVE THE GREATEST SYMPATHY FOR THE CHILD INVOLVED - AND I WONDER WHERE HIS PARENTS WERE AT THE TIME.

    TOO BUSY PRAYING PERCHANCE..................

    Inna lillahi wa inna ilahi raajun.

    Subhanallah. May Allah have mercy upon the boys family. I can't believe it. Such a horrendous crime, I really don't know what to say. I have nephews similar to that age, I can't imagine the pain the family are going through and the pain the boy went through.

    Bella, you're such a heartless thing. You do not deserve to be called a human. I would never expect a parent to say what you have just said. I hope you never experience something awful like that happening to your children. How dare you blame the parents. We don't even know the full story and here you are throwing accusations around and demeaning Islam.

    Nobody feels worse than the parents of the boy.

    It's wrong just to assume the parents were busy chatting. Like I said, you don't know the full story.

    I bet you "watch them like a hawk" when your basically on the internet 24/7. Kids have accidents in their own homes too ya know.

    May Allah protect our children and guide them to lead a righteous life Amee.

    That is unsettling news, indeed. How can someone do that to a child? They are sick and I hope this man gets the worst punishment. If anything, when I go to the masjid, I will leave my son at home.

    @ Quranist

    Because you have your name on a public forum for all to see and use. Therefore, I use it.

    @ Quranist

    It wasn't really a comeback, but there is really no use in arguing over the internet. It's kind of silly anyways. If it is of any use I will call you "Quranist" or something. *shrug*

    ~~~~~~~~
    I would never let my son out of my sight... EVER. Especially if he was only 5. I wouldn't care where I was at or who I was around. Even if I was at a church. You never know what weirdos are around.
    Source(s): People are sick.
    It is disgusting but remember this story next time you accuse all priests of being paedophiles (which they are not). This happens in mosques daily except you do not hear about it. The tide has changed though and the truth about islam and muslims is coming out now and that is great.
    I live near the Mosque where this horrific event took place and I was shocked by this news as much as anyone. This is a terrible crime and Allah will punish him for what he did, we don't need to worry about that.
    Oh, and I am against the capital punishment. I have seen the prisons here, and to be quite honest, I think that if he is killed, he gets the easy punishment. If he is put in prison, the other prisoners will make his life living hell, believe me, besides the fact that the prison system here is harsh.
    Peace Be Upon You
    I hope that the man suffers incredible pain,before and during his execution.
    This sort of evil deed happens all over the world,every day.
    Yet you will always find people that will defend the wrongdoer and who say that capital punishment is cruel and backward.
    perhaps if it was their child,they may feel different.
    La hawla wala qowat ela be Allah! Ena le Allah we ena elayhy rageoun!
    He should suffer for what he did! Hasby Allah wa nema al wakeel!
    That is just horrific. How does someone call them self a Muslim enter a mosque intoxicated and sodomize a child? Insha Allah his family will have justice in this life and the hereafter. That is heartbreaking.
