What type of birth control does not make you gain weight?
i have gained alot of weight on the depo shot i have gained weight on the mirena i want to try a pill and condoms arent safe and so help please

There is no birth control that guarantees no weight gain. It's the hormones which they produce and your body reacting to them.
I have implanon not a problem for me I've put on about 3lbs but that could just be the fact i'm not eating as well as I used to but it's not much at all. Two of my friends also got it one didn't change at all and the other actually lost a stone.
Different people actually react different. Ask your doctor for the progestrogen only pill for a bit if you get on with them for about 6 months then ask about the implant or another type of contraception.
Best to speak to your doctor before making any decisions.
