DS Lite or DSi????????

I'm making my Christmas list early and I have the old model of the DS so I'm debating between the DS Lite and the DSi (BTW: my old DS has many dead pixels and it's very out-dated). Which one should I get???? Thank you in advance! :D

Update:

Also, I have the enV3 that could actually send pictures, so the DSi's camera is useless.

    DS Lite, the DSi really isn't that great.

    Well I have a DS Lite, I've been having it for about 3 years now.

    DS lite is older, its cheaper, more people have it.

    DSi you can get on the internet, take pictures(put them on the internet) and do editing, more expensive.

    It's all up to you and what your parents want to buy.

    I have the DS Lite, and that's all I need. My cell phone has internet, can take pictures, can do silly photo shop, and has a calculator, so I'm just fine with it.
