Why all the Yankee hate?

My hate of the Yankees has nothing to do with the present. I have hated the Yankees since they beat out the Tigers in 1961 and the Tigers didn't even make the play offs in spite of winning 101 games. Deep seeded hatred doesn't die easily. I will never root for them. Ever.

Well im an Oriole fan and we haven't been to a playoff game in 10 years because we haven't had the money and we lose all of our players to teams who can offer them 200,000,000 dollar compared to 5,000,000. Mark Teixeira for example he was an oriole fan all his life, we offer him everything that we got some ridiculous number, while the yanks offer him much more he goes to the yanks, can u tell me that that is fair? That the richest team can now buy off all the players from all the other teams. you cant really think that baseball is fair with FA and all this money bias. what if the orioles did get mark teixeira and he got hurt? man i tell ya the o's would be so screwed rite now. The highest paid player on the o's is 8,000,000 brian roberts. how much is the highest paid player on the yanks getting paid? see the difference. and that not cause we dont spend our money, its that we got no money to spend. The teams with the money get the players sadly teams like the pirates, athletics, the orioles, got no one but our farms.

Back in the 80's when the Islanders were dominating everyone, they had the same haters. Many teams have this problem, Cowboys, Celtics, Lakers and the 49ers of the 80's. People hate iconic teams because it's easier to hate a successful team than to cheer for their own lame *** team.

Yeah, we're terribly ignorant and jealous...you figured it out, you clever, clever little Yankees fan. You finally discovered that the entire baseball world revolves around you and all the other fans are out to get the Yankees....it's not like we have lives or anything. No, Yankee-hating is all we baseball fans do. You should become a detective. Detective Bandwagon...yeah that has a nice ring to it.

Stupid people have stupid opinion's.And the Yankees shouldn't be treated like this there a great team.

Because they are losers who just hit homeruns because: A.) They buy the hit from the umpire B.) They buy a stadium where a homerun is only 400 feet.

No the yankees are not the only team to do any of the thigns you mentioned. However they are the only team to acheive the success they've acheived. ppl are jealous.
