  • Why do shows "look" like they're filmed differently compared to the 90's?

I was watching an episode of Law & Order: SVU and I noticed the old Law & Order episodes looked grittier. The SVU episodes look as if your sitting in the room with the actors and I dont mean that in a good way. The coloring is overly warm and there's no camera shake like in the old ones. What's different about today's filming techniques from 10 years ago?

  • Why doesn't Jordan Hill get more playing time for the Knicks?

I'm not saying he should be starting but as a #8 pick on a team with Jared Jeffries as the starting power forward, I don't understand why he doesn't see the court. And when he is on the court, it's when the Knicks are down by 20 points.

  • Should Buckeye fans be concerned with the long lay off before the Rose Bowl?

This isn't a "Buckeyes suck" or "F$&K the Pac-10" post. Keep it civil.

  • I know this is late but the Monday Night Football schedule?

Why do Miami, Green Bay, San Diego, and Washington get 2 Monday Night games and they stink?

Of course Golden Boy #1 and #2 get two games for New England and Minnesota. And the last MNF game is the second Favre-fest.

No Tampa, no Seattle, no Cincy? Who makes these schedules?

  • How is Notre Dame ranked again?

I know they're only #25 but lets be real, they haven't beaten anyone and they barely beat Washington.

I'm sick of this love affair with Notre Dame, these are the same bums who lost to Syracuse last year. If they beat USC next week, then I could understand a ranking but this is ridiculous.

  • Why all the Yankee hate?

I know, do I have to ask?

Bottom line, I'm sick of people complaining about their spending and their ballpark and acting like every other team in the league is full of saints and angels.

Am I the only one who realizes that there are cheaters on other teams in the league? Am I the only one who realizes other teams like to spend money to acquire talent? Am I the only one who sees that the Yankees aren't the only team with a ballpark made for hitting?

Are fans that ignorant, that biased, that jealous?

  • Is there any chance the Knicks make the playoffs?

Or should I just start stocking up on #1 overall pick hail mary's?

Not really feeling the resigning of Nate Robinson, don't care for D'Antoni's no-defense/hope-to-score-100-points system.

  • What does Florida State's thrashing of BYU mean?

    Does it mean nothing?

Does it mean teams like BYU should fall back on their "we want a title shot" argument?

Your thoughts? I didn't see most of the game, was BYU over matched or did they throw away the game?

  • Is the jury out on Terrelle Pryor?

I'm done vouching for Pryor. This was the chance for him to breakout, to help OSU quell the critics. The defense played a great game and gave the offense every opportunity to win and they threw it away.

Whose most to blame: Pryor? Tressel? O-line? Or the defense giving up that great field position on USC's last drive?

  • Any chance Ricky Rubio gets traded out of Minnesota to a better market?

    New York? Any other teams?

  • Will the Syracuse Orange show any improvement with Doug Marrone as coach?

Greg Paulus at QB? No discernible talent I can speak of. Another NFL coach (like Greg Robinson) who really didn't control the Saints offense last season.

  • Why is everyone convinced that Brett Favre is the key to a Minnesota Super Bowl run?

I mean, let's be real. You're gonna tell me that a 40 year-old whose coming off bicep surgery and has a damaged rotator cuff is better than Tarvaris Jackson or Sage Rosenfels or this list of QB's Minnesota could have acquired over the last couple of months (Cutler, Orton, Garcia, Leftwich, dare I say Culpepper, or even drafting Sanchez or Freeman).

  • Is Toronto asking for too much for Roy Halladay?

Look, I know Halladay is good but I don't think any player is worth a starting pitcher, a position player and 2 top prospects out of your farm system. Because basically, you really aren't gaining anything from acquiring Halladay.

  • Is Tim Tebow the best player in the country OR.....?

Or is he just a decent QB on the team that sits on the nation's best recruiting bed?

Also, since when was it a crime not to vote a particular player in a pre-season conference poll? It's a free country isn't it?

  • Why is the salary cap for NBA's 2010-2011 season lower now?

Who makes this decision, the owners or the commisioner?

    Is this about the economy?

Or is this a more sinister decision like, collusion against teams like New York or Detroit who want to sign high priced talent during that summer?

  • Who can realistically afford LeBron James when free agency hits in 2010?

I've heard some people say "He'll get the most money in Cleveland", "He'll get the most money in NYC", etc etc...

In terms of salary, what team can offer the biggest contract? How large? $25 million a year? More?

In terms of endorsments, where will he earn more?

  • Are the Cavs making these moves to quell the idea of LeBron leaving?

They picked up Shaq, they're looking at Ron Artest and Trevor Ariza. Will this be enough to win a title?

  • What do the Knicks need to give up to get Rubio in return?

I've heard reports that Minnesota acutally WANTS Nate Robinson? How NY could pass that deal up is beyond me. But that deal won't be settled until July? Can someone fill me in?

  • What the hell were the Knicks doing?

I figured acquiring the 29th pick from LA would lead to a package: how about the 8th pick, the 29th, and a player to move up in the draft? That doesn't happen and they take Jordan Hill? Ok, VERY athletic but does he have a jumper? Does he have the low post moves? Sounds like a poor-man's Amare Stoudmire...ok, I can live it...only if they can get the ball to him.

The 29th pick? Toney Douglas? Ok, console me or reassure me he's better than I think because I haven't heard jack about this guy? And Jodie Meeks falling so far? Calathes? A 6' 5" point guard who won't make the stupid play?

Maybe I'm overreacting. Maybe I'm just used to bad Knicks drafts? Your thoughts?

  • Why is everyone convinced Brett Favre is better than Tavaris Jackson or Sage Rosenfels?

What I'm trying to say is, it was clear Brett could not finish a 16 game season. Say all you want about how bad Jackson is, if you want to win a championship, you need a guy whose gonna make it thru the first 16 and the last 3 or 4 in the playoffs.

Also, we've seen Brett literally throw away the season at the end. He threw the pick to propel the Giants to the Super Bowl and threw 3 picks in a lost to Miami, helping the previously 1-15 Dolphins clinch the AFC East.

Everyone says Minnesota is poised to win a Super Bowl but I don't see it happening with a guy who can't finish the season. Why didn't the Vikings make moves to acquire a QB through a trade, or the draft or pick up Leftwich perhaps?

    Your thoughts? Keep it civil.
