Red Sox Offseason Trades?

Anderson, Bowden, Buchholz, Reddick, Matsuzaka, and maybe Bard and Papelbon can all be bait. The Red Sox need a middle of the lineup player and a shortstop. I'd love to see Hanley come back but that's a long shot. Jose Reyes has been rumored but mainly Prince Fielder and Felix Hernandez which I personally don't think would fill the Red Sox's main needs. How would this trade be?

Red Sox get:

Jose Reyes

Jeff Francoeur

Mets get:

Daisuke Matsuzaka

Clay Buchholz

Josh Reddick

I'd rather see

Marlins get:

Buccholz, Bard, Anderson, Bowden, and Papelbon

Red Sox get:

Hanley Ramirez

Jorge Cantu (to make space for the Marlins because their not as rich and they would now have Lars Anderson, Gaby Sanchez, and a bunch of capable first and third basemen)

Cameron Maybin (This may be a little to much to ask)

These are probably a little lopsided so try fixing them up for me

I would like the marlins trade but maybe have it like this:

Marlins Get: Anderson, Bowden, Westmoreland, Bates, Doubrount, and cash

(I just think the Red Sox need all the starting pitching they can get so why trade Buchholz)

    Red Sox Get:

    Hanley Ramirez

I would also like to see this trade:

Nationals get: Stephen Fife, Yamaico Navarro, Jorge Jimenez, Bates.

    Red Sox get: Ryan Zimmerman

If a trade happens for Matt Holliday, it's more likely to happen at the July trade deadline next season, since he'll be a free agent after 2009. If the Rockies don't think they'll be able to re-sign him, they'll shop him, and the Sox might be players. They'll work on a contract extension for him, though, since they don't really want a player of that caliber as a rental for whomever they have to give up. They have Bay locked up until the end of next year, so he could be packaged into a deal for Holliday. I'd expect a deal that involves another team, too, since 3 team deals are usually what it takes to move high profile players. They don't really need Teixeira, since they have Youkilis and a healthy Lowell (by spring training, anyway). What they need is another arm or two, since Schilling won't be back, Byrd is a free agent, Colon won't be back, Timlin is about to retire, and Wakefield is either done or about to take a smaller role with the club. Buchholz is pitching well in the Arizona Fall League, but they need to break camp with 6-7 starters, and right now, they don't have enough.

This is great! Red Sox get swept and immediately, this post comes alive.

Sox had a terrible year and need to rebuild the entire franchise.

I would start with trading Paplebon for some starting pitching!

Long way to go sox fans..........

I think they deal Papelbon, maybe to the Giants or even the Brewers?

LMFAO. Nobody wants any of the players on the Mets. They couldn't give those guys away
