Could you legally donate your organs before your death?

Like in the film Seven Pounds, would it be possible to choose someone you know who is ill and donate your organs to them before/on your death? Would it be possible to have assisted suicide so that your organs can go to a specific person?

Some nations allow assisted suicide, so yes. You could, for example, state your intentions to donate your kidney and liver to your brother in a will, travel to Switzerland or Estonia, and request an assisted suicide.

    Hey,

    I think thats higly unlikely.

Unless you knew you were a match and knew who was next on the waiting list. But you couldnt access that information i dont think.

    Love the film though :)
