Who do you think is going to win the 2009 World Series?

Phillies over the Yankees.

The Phillies are pumped coming off of a close finish against the Rockies. We also must not forget what happened last year in the NLCS, and the WS. The Angels also have a good chance to win it all. The Phils are fully capable of beating the Yanks, as proven earlier in the season. They just seem like the most well rounded team. If you are just looking for a team to root for, do not be a front runner and choose the Yankees.

I am totally a homer and biased when asked that question before the season even starts. Of course, I am going to say the Yankees. At this point, everyone has a chance. As the season goes on, I will try to put my bias aside and try making an educated guess on who will win. But right now, it's the Yanks lol.

I'm hoping for a Yankees/Phillies series. As a Cleveland Indians fan, I would love to see Cliff Lee and CC Sabathia in the WS to stick it to Tribe bosses.

Yanks vs Phils and the Yanks take it in 6.. A-Rod is WS MVP, as he finishes with 5 HR's and 14 RBI's, probably more... yankees will beat the Angels in a hard fought, 7 game series... Pitching was their key in ALDS and will be the key for them as they move on to the ALCS now.... Their offense, we all know, is capable of scoring in bunches.. So I pick the NY Yankees. YEAH!!!
