Ok, so I have a crush on a nerd.... I think he's cute but I don't think anyone else does. I told my best friend and she said "ewwwwww!"
Today I told two other people (a close friend and a trustworthy friend). One said, "Ok.... weird but ok"
The other said, "Ok." And that's all she said because she had to go to English. So the guy is ok.
Now I'm trying to flirt with him, and it's not working out. I asked if he got a haircut and he said yes and i said cool but that's not enough. Any tips on flirting? Thank you in advance.
And also the guy is book smart but I don't think too social smart.
Oh, and at lunch he was LICKING HIS TRAY! My friend asked why and he said that there was peach juice on it. I laughed when my friend reminded me on the bus.
I'm reconsidering now since the lunch thingy....

Ha wow, okay so you have a crush on this guy who you have talked to what once? Not trying to be mean but if you two cant really talk then there is going to be an issue. I dont think its the whole neard thing as much as it is the LICKING HIS TRAY! Yeah this one is up to you, but if i were you i would just find someone else who i could talk to easily, and didnt do embaressing things *most people who do stuff like that just do it for attention*.

Ok, the licking the tray thing is a bit on the odd side... but if you like him, he likes you, and he's nice to you, I would date him :) And I would maybe just get into a simple conversation with him, say something funny, make him laugh... that's how one of my guy friends and I became really good friends, not dating or anything. But it might work if you want to date him. Good luck :)

You're reconsidering your liking a person because of a silly, quirky flaw? Love to know that teens are so deep and don't base their relationships and non-relationships on stupid, non-relevant characterstics...
If you like the guy for who he is, more than just how cute he is but for the person he is...then go for it.
If you're out for him just for his looks and plan on changing his person, save him the trouble and the hurt and move on to a guy that is exactly like every other guy.
