Is having to much fluid a problem at 22 weeks?
I am 22 weeks PG. When I went to my DR. she said the baby was measuring very high. She sent me to an high teck US on this Monday past. They are not allowed to tell me anything so I have to wait on the DR to tell me. All she said was there was a lot of fluid and said the DR would call me. I never use my cell phone and it never rings. I have not even looked at it til today and saw it was off. Well she has been calling me wanting me to call her. Today was 1/2 day for them so I dont know what to do. I was hoping someone knew what this could mean and if its a problem. The baby also is now 1 lbs 4oz. Thanks for any help.

I carried extra fluid my entire pregnancy. When I went into labor with my son, my water actually broke twice, an hr apart. Flooded the whole bed and floor both times. They were never worried about him though. I am not sure why they would be worried. I wish you the best of luck!

My friend Sarah went through this, and the only issue she had was she had to have preterm labor stopped twice. I'm not sure if it's a huge problem or not,but her doctors told her just to take it easier, and try to keep from doing anything that could send you into preterm labor, because apparently that can happen more with too much fluid, but I'm not a doctor,so I could be totally wrong. Talk to your doc,and she can explain it to you.
