your thought on acting?

Good acting is accredited to (not limited to):

. Good listening

. Good reading

. Good relating

. Good control/use of your mind, body and expressions

. Good projection

. Good direction and good with taking direction

. Good attitude

. Good assertiveness

. Good health and fitness

. Good imagination

. Good improvisation

. Good self esteem and self worth (not arrogant)

. Good drive and commitment

. Good eye and body language

. Good judgment

. Good risk taking (feeling the fear and doing it anyway)

. Good communication, interpersonal and networking skills.

As for playing the part of Belle and not being a good singer or dancer - give it a shot but don't be too hard on yourself if you don't get it. As Belle is a fairly physical and vocally demanding role.

It is good that you have a realistic understanding of yourself and roles in musicals do exist for those who haven't got terrific singing voices or tapping feet. I know I do many musicals and I don't sing or dance particularly well, it's my story telling that pulls me through.

well if you want to get better you should read some books about acting, theatre etc..

the more you learn about acting and its history the more comfortable you will feel in its environment.

and if you have a favorite character from a movie, tv etc try emulating the character, that's how you get better.

but most important is to be confident and if the first audition says no we don't want you then their are millions more waiting for you. don't ever let anyone say you cant.

0_0 what is with the caps? IT'S REALLY ANNOYING! see? however i most often act earlier than i suppose, after which i do not relatively have time to suppose cos a few historic woman begins chasing me with a purse and strolling stick.
