What's the best way to make cork shelf liner stay secure? Is there some kind of adhesive I should use?
I bought a roll of the thin cork shelf liner from Williams Sonoma for my kitchen cabinets, which I recently had re-faced. Because it's been tightly rolled, it won't lie flat in the cabinet. One of my cabinets has deep "dead space" in a corner that turns, and when I put the heavy items that need to be stored there back in that corner, it pulls the shelf liner over. I'm finding it really hard to handle! Is there some kind of double sided tape or light adhesive that I should be using to secure the liner to the shelf? Thank you so much.

Consider trying gorilla tape - it's a little like duct tape, but it would probably work better for this application. Just roll it around itself to make it sticky on both sides. It would have some thickness, but the cork would probably hide that enough.

You can use double sided carpet tape because it is heavy duty enough to hold it down flat. You can also use contact cement mainly because of the ease of application, it usually comes with a brush in the cap. Other adhesives will work too, like Household Goop, E6000, Well-bond, but you will need a lot, they are more work to apply because of that and they are more expensive.
