I got DV media Pro 1.0 CamCorder and it wont install in my new Vista computer? What do I do?

the Cd software says it runs on Win 98, ME, 2000, and XP

Could that be the reason and if so, what can I do???

    Your software is not compatible with Vista. Go to your manufacturer's website and see if they have some compatible software for youe camera. Have you tried just hooking your camera up via the appropriate cord and putting it in playback mode?

    I am not familiar with DV media camcorder, is that the name of the software or the camcorder?
