Whats your ghostly experience?

Back in the 1940s my family moved to an old rectory that was redundant as the new one had been built nearer the church as the horses couldn't get up the hill to the church to take the rector there in the snow. The house had been let for some years but no-one stayed the full length of their tenancy. The first week when we were still living more or less in the kitchen for warmth my brother - 5 at the time - came down to breakfast and asked who the lady on the landing was wearing a grey dress to her ankles with a big white collar. I saw my parents exchange glances but the matter was brushed aside. Many years later I was told it was a Roundhead girl in love with a Cavalier .I have absoloutely no idea if she was real - I, being older, never saw her but the house always had a warm feeling towards my family so I guess she liked us.

My one ghostly experience was once I opened the door and saw my mother naked.

I couldn't sleep for years.
