Have you ever sewn with old juice pouches?

I know people who used to make purses out of old juice pouches (like Kool-Aid and Capri Sun and what not), and was wondering how you'd go about making one. I'm entering a recycling/redesign contest in January and wanted to make a dress or outfit out of old pouches, but I thought it'd be good to make a purse first just to learn how it works.

If you could give me some directions on how to do this, that'd be great. Thank you!

It's really very simple and just like sewing with fabric. Obviously it is going to be more difficult because you have to poke through aluminum (or whatever it is they are made of), but the concept is the same. You need to just sew together whole pouches... don't try to cut then in half or something. I don't really know what special things you say, because it is just sewing with difficult and not very flexible material, lol.
