What do i say back to him?

okay me and my ex boyfriend were texting and i told him about my grandma getting the swine flu. and he said he was sorry. and i told him that he didn't have to be sorry because it wasn't his fault. but he said so im still sorry. what do i say to that do i say thanks? or what?

    You could say, "Thank you for your concern."

    He's just trying to be supportive. You're his girlfriend. He wants you to know he will be there, and I'm sure he didn't mean it in the way you took it. He probably meant that he's sorry that you are having to go through something that hurts like that. Just tell him thanks for understanding, for his support, and being there in hard times.

    yes u say thank you. because that means that even though u 2 r broken up, he still cares about you/your family. and i consider that a good thing. so shud u.

    Yes, a simple "Thank you," would be perfectly appropriate. It's basically saying "Thanks for caring."
