How do you feel about this? Its a question about Caster Semenya?

OK, earlier in the year everyone was on about Caster Semenya, and they weren't all pleasant remarks. However I just found out that due to the stress and everything else she, Caster, has been unable to take her university exams. How do you feel now? The same or differently?

I felt sorry for her from the beginning. Here is a young woman born in poverty in South Africa, no running water or electricity, who is very talented at running and gets famous for it.

Then because she has very masculine features, instead of a private medical consultation, she is put in the public light, and the whole world learns that she has hormonal imbalance and male testes.

She is only 18, she should have learned this privately and then received some sort of medical treatment. I feel that it was not done right.

in my opinion, I see no reason to talk the attempt. If she has not something to conceal, there should not be any arguments. If, even nonetheless, she seems to be a male, and posing as a woman, then she could be booted out of the ladies folk's branch. no count if or not she/he could be allowed to play in the adult males's branch is debatable and a thoroughly diverse tale. Semenya might have had a intercourse replace, or additionally be a case of hermaphroditism. there is likewise the very genuine possibility that she/he's a genetic ailment case. It has happened quite a few circumstances and a lot greater problem-loose than you think of. it might desire to be that she has 3 intercourse chromosomes, ensuing in XXY or XYX. She might desire to surely have a genetic ailment the place she makes an extra volume of testorone, ensuing in the male-like effective components many anybody is utilising as evidence for this accusation. however occurs, i surely desire to work out the outcomes and spot no count if human beings will experience stupid for accusing her of being a male, human beings will experience stupid for protecting her as a woman, or she might additionally be between the till now pronounced genetic mishaps. all of it boils all the way down to the outcomes...which i desire are actually not tampered with in any way.

I felt sorry for her to begin with.

I was angry that people questioned her sex just because she wasn't 5'1", 120 pounds...

I was hurt when they found out she is basically an intersexual (hermaphrodite) whose parts didn't fully come out and so she didn't know...

I was deeply hurt for her when she had to quit and now because of things beyond her control she cannot do the thing she has been training to do most of her life (run in races)

I was furious when people had all those horrible jokes about her...

And now I am more hurt that so much as been put on her that she can't even take exams...

I was on this woman's side the whole time and still am...this is all beyond her control and people have been so horrible and nasty to her.

    She doesn't deserve this.

Why would that have anything to do with what people feel is right or wrong? Stress or not stress doesn't affect right and wrong. I am not saying what is right or what is wrong, only that right and wrong are not subject to alteration based on emotion or feeling.
