Very bad. If it is hot, it may expand and burst. If it is cold it may freeze and burst. Just set the little bail on the pressure nozzle to allow water to run anytime the water is turned on. It will drain the pressure off.

The sun baking the hose on the outside will do more damage to the hose than the water pressures on the inside.

Cold weather is one thing to worry about but make sure you don't leave the hose out either. If it gets run over by a car then it could rip somewhere. Depending on the strength of the hose over time it will weaken at a certain point and begin to bubble out, tearing eventually.

It only matters if you live somewhere cold enough for the water to freeze. That could damage the hose. Besides that, no problem.

Yes. Because the heat of the Day can expand the water IN the hose- and compromise (ruin) the fittings at either end (causing them to eventually leak...). I ALWAYS open my hoses when I'm finished using them ! [ It ALSO makes them a LOT easier to put away- because they aren't so STIFF ! :) ].
