What is your favourite book from the Twilight Saga, and why?

Hopefully you've read the Saga and I won't be spoiling anything for you! :)

My favorite book, by far, would have to be Eclipse. I could not put it down - I read six hours straight until it was finished.

I think its the most emotionally intense book. Although Bella is deeply in love in Twilight, and confusing and heartbroken in New Moon, Eclipse has that breathtaking quality of being torn between two boys, two loves and two worlds. And even though you know she'll end up with Edward, as a Jacob fan I couldn't help but turn page after page to see if Jacob could steal her heart, or perhaps just another kiss.

Eclipse also contains my all time favorite scenes, (the tent scene, kissing in the snow etc. etc.) and I think its nice and romantic without getting too mushy like I feel Breaking Dawn did.

I did like New Moon, but as Bella was so depressed I kinda felt like it dragged the mood of the entire book down, and I was so mad at Edward the entire time for leaving her! Not sad...angry! And I love the full on war between Jacob and Edward in Eclipse. I think Eclipse has the most "love" and "heart" than any of the other books, as Edward and Jacob both confess and compete to show how much Bella means to them. Although the ending of Eclipse tore my heart apart, I loved the emotional roller coaster it took me on. I hated, loved, wept (well, I shed like one tear), laughed and squealed with joy.

It is, by far, my favorite in the saga. :)

I have to say - Breaking Dawn. I am somewhat of a romantic person and I loved the way their romance came full circle. I loved the wedding when Bella was so worried about tripping on her gown - but then when she sees Edward waiting for her and everything falls into place. And the way Bella fights for her baby - and in the end the way she becomes the protector instead of having to be protected. I loved the description of her first few hours after being changed.

I like Breaking Dawn as it brings everything together and the unlikely romance between Edward and Bella survives and everything happens, also I love the plot twists as you completely don't expect them. I like the way it flicks from character to character so you get different points of view and the fact that it's so big and it's not a book that goes really quickly is a good thing as well. But I love twilight as well because you get introduced to the concept and get into the story!

i like Breaking Dawn. I love how super emotional it is but not in the same way as New Moon. New Moon is mostly sadness, but Breaking Dawn has sadness, fear, love, happiness. I love the happy ending too. i love how determined Bella is during the "jacob" section of the book. how she knows that she absolutely has to have the baby no matter what.

Twilight. Because in New Moon Bella is depresed, in Eclipse Bella wants Edward to have sex with her all the time, in Breaking Dawn Bella has a half monster baby thing. So its Twilight because nothing stupid happens.

I don't really like any of the other books. Only the first one got me through the whole series. And the reason is Bella. At least for the first half of the book, she is the strong, independant and sensible girl. She does her homework, looks after her dad and reads Jane Austen Novels. And she makes it look cool. She's just this quite unassuming girl who moved states so her mum would be happy. She is really amazing. And as far as role models go, she is a fnatastic one.

Untill Edward comes along and she becomes this lovesick puppy that can't think for herself. And that takes up most of the other 3 books. Ok yes she keeps her baby and yes she still sees Jacob, but apart from that she bascially does everything she is told and is apologetic for eveything she does.

Basically she makes culture look cool. And the romance of the first book is really sweet. Some action, some drama, some twists. Its a good book. I started reading it at 8 one night for the first time, thinking I would only read a little bit. It was finished by dawn. It has some attraction I can't explain. But I hated the other books except for that one. They had no depth, no character development, and Bella and Edward were just plain unhealthy.

Twilight. Although it starts out pretty boring, i think thats where their relationship is more intense. And I like New Moon, because it defines their relationship more and Bella is the one saving Edward this time.

Breaking Dawn was my personal favorite as it showed character development in Bella's human life, physical being and emotional character.

I would say Breaking Dawn, as it meshes everything together. Bella and Edward's love for one another is really intensified.
