Opinions on abortion?

Life begins at conception. When the egg and sperm meet, the fertlized egg starts dividing and is incoded with all the DNA for a new person. It is a distinct and separate human being at that point. Most women dont know they are pregnant until at least 4 or 5 weeks, and by then the baby is fairly well formed. The little tiny heart is already beating by then

In the case of rape or abuse, I know it's tragic. But the post-abortion guilt is tragic also. I've always been a fan of adoption for unwanted children. There are so many couples that want kids that can't.

My husband and I both have college degrees and going back for our masters in the fall, so our unborn children theoretically will be smarter than you. You are currently polluting the air that my unborn child will breathe, ruining the food supply they need to eat. By your "undeveloped species" comment and bioethics beliefs, that means my unborn child is more important than you, correct? Should we kill you so that my superior children can have access to more resources? Maybe we should harvest your organs now because there might be some more intelligent people who need a transplant? No matter who you are, someone on earth who needs a transplant has a brain more developed then yours.

Do you consider children born with downs syndrome to be "undeveloped species" too? Should we kill them off, hence improving the quality of life for their parents? Do you feel they deserve the dignity of not being burdened with these "undeveloped species" of humans?

Ugh, you can make a pro-choice statement without bringing bioethics into the discussion. Crap like that just makes me sick.

It's a woman's choice is my opinion. It's her choice,God gave us free will to make decisions with,even if they're bad decisions,so by saying "oh that's just evil blah blah blah) people are going agianst what God teaches,which is to be nonjudgemental and saying the woman doesn't have the right to make her OWN decision,even if it's a bad one. Do I agree with it? No,I just think a woman should be able to make that choice. Would I ever do it? Hell no,I was offered a medical abortion because of a problematic pregnancy and I said no. But will I judge women/say mean things to women that have them? No I won't,because it's her choice. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

8 months in is wrong? Do realize the youngest baby ever to live was born at only 19 weeks? And the baby has a heartbeat at only 3 weeks, it can be seen as early as 5 weeks and heard as early as 8 weeks. Just wanted to let you know some ACTUAL facts :)

I don't think it's right. If you think your responsible and mature enough to have sex then you should be mature enough to take responsibility for your actions. On the other hand I think that if a woman was raped then it's okay.
