I want to add fog lights to my avalon how do i do that? I want to add the factory fog lights. not the one you buy from autozone, ect.
My car trim is XL, if it was XLS it would have fog lights as standard.

It can be done, although not cheaply. The first thing to do is check behind the location of the lamps and see if the connectors for the fog lamps are there. If not, it may not be worth your while to install them as a lot of wiring would have to be done. If the connectors are there, you will need a fog/headlamp switch (about $175), a relay, a fuse, and the light assemblies. The assemblies basically snap into place as does the switch after you remove the column surround. Then you add the relay and fuse in relay box 1, install the lights and plug them in, and the system should work. Oh, did I mention I would recommend getting a professional?
Hope this helps! God Bless!

LOL What do they stress, a shitty Grand Prix or Alero? there's a ninety% threat that Avalon rides, drives 6 situations nicer than regardless of they have have been given, and advantageous gets extra effectual gasoline mileage. those Avalons are magnificent autos in each way, i do no longer care what anybody says. in case you like it, decide for it!
