What would be a good substitute for strength training?
I absolutely HATE to lift weights. As a result, most of my workouts in the gym consist of cardio, which I love. I do understand however the benefits of strength training and would like to add that component to my workouts. I'm just wondering, is there anything that would be a good substitute for lifting weights? Maybe something that uses the body weight instead? Would, for example yoga or pilates be ok?

Yoga and pilates are good, but they do not completely replace weight training. You can do weighted pilates and yoga as well.

Although it isn't ideal - weighted pushups (put a backpack on, tight) offer a similar plane of motion, but ensure reps are low, and the weight increases.

chin yourself on a bar, try to lift yourself on a bar, use one of those automated machines wherein you hold your arms bent in front of you and just tighten your muscles as the machine works for you, stand one one leg then on the other. And take calcium
