+ He held councils for change in liturgy. His most significant completion was the burning of the Latin Vulgate Bible and creating the King James Version in order to make sure that all countries had the same Bible. He also made it necessary for kings and emperors to visit the Vatican every two years so he can make sure they are loyal.

+ It showed that the pope was a very powerful person. With Charlemagne a Christian, the pope could convert people faster. It also shows that the pope is really respected.
