.out and .r00 file extension?

hi all

i have downloaded a torrent file that has 14 .r** file now i can extract them by "Total Commander" but this time it generates .out file and i do not know which program should be associated whit it.

FOR MORE INFORMATION:

file itself is about Joomla Advanced CSS.

the size of .out file is equal to the total size of .r** files (i think it means the extraction is correct.isn't it?)

any hint or comment will be appreciated

Thank you

.r00 is usually a multi-part RAR file. I use the free 7Zip to uncompress .rar and .zip files. WinRAR is also great, but it's shareware.

About the .out, probably the author wanted to "hide" the true contents of the archive. I have to rename .exe files inside .zip files to avoid corporate e-mail servers blocking attachments.

2a) So now you have WInRar installed. Now it's time to extract your ISOs. Go to your folder where you have your downloaded files. If you have a crapload of files, choose list view in your folder to see what you are working with. 99% of the time, all you will have to do is right click the first file in your list (remember the "context menu options"), and choose "extract to." Then browse for a location that you want your ISO extracted to and click "ok." WinRar will extract the ISO and whatever else is archived in that group of files to your destination of choice.

Note: The time it takes for the ISO to extract is dependant on the speed of your computer and the ammount of files it needs to extract from.
