I know it's really tough when you're in the moment, but think of something funny.

I usually "try" and laugh it off, when on the inside I want to rip their eyes out and cry into my pillow.

Just think optimistically. Like if this isn't the one or something i'm meant to do, there must be something even better than what i'm upset over right now somewhere, I just have to be patient.

rejection for anything? if and when i deal with rejection and failure, this is my thought process: Of course, I first feel disappointment and shame at "losing." I then feel anger, mainly at myself. Then, I close of all my feelings and I heal myself emotionally by slowly distancing myself from the situation. Then, I'll continue to pursue until I get what I want. Throughout this whole thing however, I kind of subconsciously keep a stony and non-caring look plastered on my face.

Although, if we're talking about love here, then I would guess that it would either make me want the person more, or I would decide that they're not worth it and become cold emotionally (although they wouldn't be able to tell because I would still act warm towards them). But I rarely ever openly pursue, so I've never actually faced rejection in that matter.

I will be upset with the rejection, but eventually, I get over it. My way of dealing with it is before the rejection, I brace myself for the possible rejection. After the rejection, I just take it as a part of life and learn from my mistakes and probably try it again. If I get rejected again, screw it! I'll try something new!

It depends on what kind of rejection. If you admit your deep love for someone and they turn you down, that's going to hurt a lot worse than having someone say they can't come to your party, for instance. I don't like rejection, just like everyone else, and I think that it's a big reason for why we often refrain from getting things done. But unfortunately, it's bound to happen some of the time. The way I deal with it is just to be reasonable. That person probably didn't set out to hurt me, so there's no point in feeling torn up about it. Remember that for every rejection, there's someone out there who won't turn you down, and that you can always look forward to. I will laugh and try to act confident, even if I know that I'm hurt inside, but by distracting myself and focusing on better things, I learn that one moment in my life shouldn't keep me down. If for some reason that person did set out to hurt you, well then you can be glad that they rejected you. Who wants someone like that in your life anyway?

Know that we cannot be liked by everyone. And people needs changes, so we often will feel rejected when they do not want to engage with us anymore. I find those who keep dwelling on the rejection, only create for themselves more rejection. After all that is what you are plugged into. The key is not to take the rejection so deeply to the heart. Let it go. Keep yourself upbeat, and know that rejection is only temporary, and there are over 6 billion people on the planet. So make an effort to meet them all. Some you will like, and some you will reject. However, the journey of learning and experiencing all the feelings life gives to us will at the end be what we have place out. Meaning that if you are sad all the time, that what it will be, and if you strive to be happy most of the time, that is what it will be. The choice is yours. Make it what you will.

I dont like rejection and actually I act like I don't give a second thought to it but inside it eats me up for days while i try to examine what i did wrong, how to change it and why someone would have rejected me. When i feel upset by this i usually go get my hair done, do my nails and go out with friends to have a good time where im not just sitting around dwelling. I have the gemini cut off to my advantage because with in a few days i am my happy self and dont think twice on it but it usually takes me getting out and having a good time to feel better before i can accomplish the cut off phase. Once a gemini gives up on something we dont usually ever even think of it again i love that about myself but my cancer venus doesnt deal with rejection very well and i dwell on it until my twins save me.

Try going out and doing something for yourself to make you feel uplifted again a change or a new outfit always lifts my spirits. And know your a lovely and beautiful person one may reject you but there are thousands out there who are going to think you are very special and worth more than gold. :) feel better honey.

To be quite honest... I don't deal with rejection because I really never pursue. Usually the person I want eventually comes to me and once they show interest, I pursue back. Therefore it is mutual and no rejection can occur.

Well I go out, and create happiness in the world. Whether giving a random person a compliment, giving someone an encouraging word, or giving someone a hug. For I realize happiness is something I could create even if I don't have it myself because I know eventually happiness will come back to me.

Me personally. I deal with rejection by getting away from the person and just trying to forget about it.

I mean it happens, but what can I do. I'm not going to MAKE him love me, if he doesn't feel that way naturally, then fine. It just wasn't meant to be.

I might secretly try to get him see what he lost though, by either walking in a more confident walk when I see him with a or just smile at him to confuse the hell out of him.

+ the no teeth kind of smile.
