1999 Jeep Cherokee electrical problems?

I have a keyless remote that unlocks/locks and starts the car. It is the manufactorer's remote and the unlock/lock feature does not work, even though the automatic start does. After I hit the unlock/lock key it still lights up on the remote and the hazards do temporarily go on and on the inside it makes a clicking noise behind the gauges. Also, when I turn on my left blinker both of my back blinkers go on and this happens about half the time. Thanks and any suggestions will be greatly appreciated
