How can I bypass HDCP when hooking up my PS3 to a Computer monitor through DVI?

this is my monitor

FPD1960 TFT LCD

I am using a HDMI to DVI converter and speakers plugged in separately through Analogue. I used an alternate HDTV to change the resolution settings to best fit my monitor and Audio settings. When I turn on my PS3 i just get a blank screen. I read that this is caused by the HDCP restrictions to stop Piracy. I'm not trying to Pirate anything i just want to hook up my PS3 to my computer monitor. Is there anyway I can bypass this without buying anything pricey?

Nope. HDCP is encryption that is exceedingly difficult to bypass.

The reason why HDCP was implemented on the PS3 is because it can play blu-ray discs. It requires an HDCP-compliant monitor for full HD playback to ensure the bit-perfect digital high-def video signal cannot be recorded (and thus prevent a pirate from making a digitally-perfect illegal copy of the blu-ray disc).

HDCP-compliant monitors aren't expensive though. You can buy HDMI-equipped widescreen LCD monitors for as low as $160 on Newegg these days.. That would almost certainly be cheaper and easier than trying to buy devices or mods to bypass the PS3's HDCP implementation which may or may not work.

nicely definite, inspite of the undeniable fact that it in basic terms connects to greater moderen HD video show instruments with an HDMI port on it. i exploit an LG 23" finished HD video show for the two workstation use and PS3 Use. there is not any VGA or DVI enter that connects to the PS3 until they make a Cable that connects HDMI Output to DVI enter. I do have a DVI out to HDMI out, So it would desire to be achievable. seek for "HDMI to DVI"
