longitude lines run from the north pole to the south pole in a straight line spaced in equal distances around the earth.
time zones only sometimes use longitude lines to help define the boders between one time zone from the other, however many other things help define the borders between time zones such as arbitrary country/state lines, mountain ranges, etc.
There is not other relation aside from the fact that they seem somewhat correlated due to the spin of the earth on its axis, which is the north and south pole.
