The GOP could not stop this even if they wanted to (and trust me they do). The reason there has not been a health care bill is because Democrats in the House want a public option and the Democrats in the Senate do not (or at least do not want to say they voted for it).

Another reason this is failing to pass is because the American people are finally waking up to the fact that this bill is a power grab and about paying off special interest groups.

If they where serious about solving the health care problem they would allow people to buy health insurance across state lines and place limits on malpractice suits (would reduce cost by reducing defensive medicine).

P.S. the bill in "budget neutral" because the taxes and fees are begin in the first year the bill takes effect but the actual 'reforms' do not take place until 2014. In other words they front load the revenue but back load the cost which allows them to falsely claim that the bill is 'budget neutral' for the first few years.

Because the insurance companies have managed to buy out the Blue Dog Democrats to sabotage the reform the USA needs.

FACT - Insurance companies in the USA admit to pushing up prices, buying politicians and not paying out claims when they should [1]

FACT - PER PERSON the USA spends more on healthcare than any other nation on the planet [2]

FACT - Obama debated his plans before the election for healthcare [3]

FACT - the chance of a child under five of dying in the USA is greater than industrialised nations with universal health coverage [4]

FACT - Obama was elected by the American people to bring in change [5]

FACT - Obama wants to stop insurance companies from screwing American’s [6]

FACT - The reforms Obama wants work in the Netherlands and Switzerland [7]

Let me know if my facts are wrong, but please provide proof.

  • It isn't. The problem with the Democrat party is that the Socialist wing lead by Botox Pelosi and Retard Reid are trying to ram their Socialist idiocy down the collective throats of the working class. A few of the Democrats whose political views are not to the left of Karl Marx are resisting the effort.

Obviously , they don't want to put it in effect until after the next election. That way, no one will see the dismal failure it will be until Obama gets reelected (I dread the thought) and then it will be too late.

As for me, I say, everyone should just pay the fine, no one buy insurance until they get sick, because they won't be able to turn you down. of course it will bankrupt the system, but what the hell, we're on a downhill slide into depression and there's no stopping it.

By lying and rousing the masses to question it...also known as "obstruction".

(It will be budget neutral...you should learn to listen).
