I had a trojan horse no i need to remove the game?

I bought a game from a store. I have downloaded 3different times. This last time I downloaded the game. It had a trojan horse. the virus is gone now. Should I remove the game or remove the game and re-download it? Any help would be great.

Update:

I went on the geek squad web site I did the download and scan for spyware and than after the scan it said 127915 files scanned, 1 file(s) infected on your disk drives.

No viruses were detected in memory.

Your computer is infected with at least one known virus or Trojan horse.

Note: The scan was cancelled before finishing. There may be more infected files on this computer.

Search for the name of the threat(s) listed below on the Symantec Security Response site for removal information.

C:\Program Files\Play at Joe's\Tumblebugs\update.exe is infected with Trojan Horse

I was running avg free edition. I took that off and put PC tools on and it only came up with a Quarantine file that shows

c:\windows\memory.dmp and under the infection header says Anti Virus detected Files date quarantined 10/21/09. I bought the game at Walmart.

Update 2:

Oh and I did not stop the scan like it says it ran all the way through.

Update 3:

The software I ran for the check was Symantec Security Check. I hope all this helps.

I need more info here. What security program telling you of a trojan and what is the full name of a trojan?

If you bought the game from a store than I bet that trojan is a false positive. If you remove and re-install the game, that 'trojan' will be flagged up again and if that is a false positive, you can put that in exclusion to stop your security program detecting that as a trojan. Please add more info and I will add more to help you.

That does look like a false positive to me. I mean, you bought the game from a store and it is common for games to be flagged up by security programs.

To further check it, instead of uninstalling and re-installing other security programs to check, best to do this way by uploading a file to Jott's malwarescan and/or Virus Total.
