    Do your parents hate you when they tell you what to do? Does your teacher hate you by correcting your mistakes? Do I hate you when I tell you where I think your head is? Well, scratch that last one. Putting your country on the right track is the highest form of love. Derailing it for selfish purposes is a sign of hate.

    I'll say this for you, though. You certainly know how to grab attention.

    Where did you read in any part of the text about Hating America? Was not what they said factual and to the point.

    Excuses like the sun is cooling off and it is not really happening only shows ignorance or not facing of reality of some people. For example the oceans rising due to Ice melt not only on the north and south poles but also Glaciers though out the world. Sea Temperatures are higher and going higher. We have major Ozone depletion in areas like the major hole above Australia.

    Can you imagine the stupid frustration of people who ask Senators and such for solutions when they have none as without the backing of the people anything can change! How can a few government people change the world with out the backing of the people of the world? How many know that America, about 8% of the world’s population, consumes over 50%, down from 60%, of the worlds Energy. That’s a seven to one the average for the world. And yes all forms of energy create heat so per American we produce more heat by far then any other country per person. We have studied this issue since the 60’s. People are now just realizing the impact of their use of energy but do you see them giving up their big cars/truck, using mass transit, car pooling, backing off the gas pedal or such. Heck no. It’s like so many American’s spend $5.00 at the bar for a drink and ***** about the economy but do nothing to change it, like doing a better job at work which would me higher productivity.

    Get used the environmental damage. It will continue till Russia shows the world how to produce clean energy like they are doing in Southern France with the Thermo Nuclear Reactor that produces the highest Kilo Watt of Energy per BTU of heat ever available and only three quarts of water, converted to energy, in these reactors can supply the earth for all it’s electric needs to run all devices on electricity and no fossil fuels. (See ITER.ORG for clean energy.)

    But then even Russia has economic needs including having the world’s greatest supply of natural gas and oil, more then all the Arab Nations combined. They need to sell it before they put these clean reactors into production or they will loose the income from said fossil fuels which fund the development of said reactor. A no win situation again. As far as America helping with the costs America is behind by Billions of Dollars on the project and its technical development, just like America is Billions of dollars, the most of any nation, in dept to the United Nations.

    So accept that environmental damage will get worse. Maybe we will get lucky and the asteroid will hit us in 2013 and not wait till 2029 when it will be a 1/45 chance of major damage to earth. (See http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2005/13may_2004... asteroid 2004 MN4‏ ) That would solve a lot of problems we have created as a simple solution is reduction, or extension, of mankind on earth. After all is that not why America uses war for economic solutions and reduction in the worlds population.

    Sincerly;

    They have merely put in a letter what everyone who reads already knows. The science is in. Regardless of anyone's politics, global warming has been proved.

    "Observations throughout the world make it clear that climate change is occurring, and rigorous scientific research demonstrates that the

    greenhouse gases emitted by human activities are the primary driver."

    All I see is some silly idiots that do not realize that all global warming ended about 3 years ago when the sun went into a full solar minimum and currently shows no signs of warming up in the near future. Considering the sun is currently quieter than it has been since the beginning of the Maunder solar minimum in the middle 1600s and global temperatures have seriously dropped to those close to 90 years ago I would seriously be a lot more worried about prepping for a few potentially very cold winters over the next 30 or so years. But then of course liberals do not concern themselves with real problems, only fictional ones approved by their leader!

    The real problem is that those who promote the AGW agenda know very little about science and how things really work. The sun is the source of 98% of the energy that warms the earth.

    My word... Why do some people who post on Yahoo! Answers have such poor reading comprehension skills? This letter has nothing to do with hating America.

  • It's hard not to hate such a hypocritical country such as America.
