What could be causing the numbness in my toes?

It's not constant. Every now and then my toes go suddenly numb and stay that way for a while. It's completely random and the episodes can happen weeks apart or days apart. Can anyone help?

usually when a part of you goes numb it means there isnt good circulation in that area, maybe your shoes are on too tight,or you just havnt moved your toes around for a couple hours, just move your toes around every now and then to get the circulation going

    Maybe get checked for diabetes.

Maybe exercising and/or rubbing your toes to increase circulation to the toes will help. Maybe warm water soaks but be VERY carefull with the Temperature 'cause you could burn yourself and not feel it.
