Im having trouble writing a thesis statement for this essay topic?

You can write about racism and ageism, zenophobia against immigrants, and the poor getting poorer, the marginalization of the mentally ill, the lack of racial representation in the legislature, the lack of public health care, etc....

The thesis/summary would sound something like "Nothing is free in America. In a land where only the wealthiest can afford healthcare, where the poor are marginalized and denied educational opportunities, and those of advanced age or suffering from illness are allowed to fall through a failing social safety net, America is letting its' people down. Only those who have the money and power needed to capitalize on the suffering and labor of others are truly 'free' in America."

The last sentence is the THESIS STATEMENT.

It in fact enslaved the non-land owning Whites, Blacks, and Asians alike, everyone but the Native Americans.
