Can I mount a Windows 7 .iso file for installing the system?
Can I download a Windows 7 .iso or get it from a friend and mount it on my Windows Vista PC? :P
Edit: I actually can't burn it to a disk, but what I mean if I can "mount" it on my PC because I don't have a 2.X gig CD and I'm asking if I could make the installation with mounting the .iso file with a program.
Another edit: I just found out I actually got a 4.7GB CD, thanks :)

The .iso file requires you to burn it to a DVD or a USB flash drive that's autobooting, my friend. The reason you're getting the error that you are is because your mounted image isn't autobooting, which is a requirement of installing Windows 7.

you can mount the image to a disk, sure, but the problem you will have is the license and thats essentially what your paying for...
