Atheists what exactly are you trying to get religious people to see?
You say there is no God but yet you have no proof.
You say that the bible is a myth but yet you have no proof.
You say that God is a man made character but yet you have no proof.
100 percent of the information you give, is based on your own opinion and assumptions with absolutely no proof.
So what is it exactly that you are trying to get us to see?

You say god is real, yet you have no proof.
You say the Bible is the divine word of god, yet you have no proof.
You say god god is creator of everything, yet you have no proof.
100% of your info is based on an ancient text of compiled stories from superstitious, ignorant, illiterate goat herders that are completely unsubstantiated, so you have no proof. The Bible cannot back up any religious argument. Someone could use the Lord of the Rings and call it divine too.
Atheists, on-the-other-hand, use only science to back our answers. We believe only what can be tested and proved. Also, using logic and reason keeps us from thinking we have special privileges give to us by a god, so we don't get to condemn people for how they live their lives.

This is exactly the reason why atheists make fun of creationism and religion. People with vested interest in these things always seem to play the victim and accuse atheists of pushing their 'agenda' and infringing on religious belief. Then, when they think that no one is looking we see a post like this.
The burden of proof is on the person making the claim for the existence of some thing or principle. If you want to approach science on science's terms (saying there's no proof for not god or whatever) then you have to play by science's rules. You have just committed a logical fallacy called "appeal to ignorance", which takes the following form: There is no proof for X, therefore not X.
Upon seeing this, you may be tempted to say "well atheists are committing this same fallacy when they claim that there's no proof for god so not god". However, atheists do have evidence (such as the theory of evolution, which they frequently attack despite creationism being the biggest, most flawed pile of excrement i have ever seen labeled 'science').

I'm not trying to get believers to "see" anything. I don't care if you believe. I respect your right to believe whatever you wish, as long as you are not hurting anyone.
However:
There is no proof that any of the thousands of gods exist (don't be arrogant and assume yours is the only one, or the only one that matters), and so no need or reason to believe they do.
I have lots of evidence that the Bible is a collection of stories and myths. The book itself is full of contradiction and historical inaccuracy. Much of its greater stories - the flood, for example - have no evidence of ever actually occurring, and plenty of evidence - ancient civilizations that went on living and growing when the flood should have wiped them out - that it never happened at all. Many of its stories can also be easily paralleled to other myths and legends and gods from other cultures and religions. I take the Bible no more seriously than I take the Odyssey of Homer.
So Zeus is real, then? You have no proof that Zeus is NOT real, and since gods can't POSSIBLY be man-made... ALL HAIL ZEUS!
Actually, no. 100 percent of the information I have is NOT just based on my own opinion and assumptions. I don't believe blindly, I don't put my faith in things that have no evidence to support them. That applies to gods, and holy books, and any other magical supernatural thing you can dream up.

I'm going to speak ONLY for myself here but if I ever do that it's because I've taken a close look at literalist Christianity and found it to be something that no rational person could believe in. Although that doesn't mean all Christians all irrational, they could be ignorant of the not-so-pleasant, non-sensical, or contradictory stuff in the bible, or they could be lying to themselves. I need to learn to separate my dislike for the faith from dislike for the followers, after all they are only a flock and aren't to blame. It's the shepherds (clergy) that are to blame.

Can you prove that Zeus doesn't exist? Can you prove that Thor doesn't exist? Can you prove that Mithras doesn't exist? Can you prove that Freya doesn't exist? Can you prove that Bast doesn't exist? Aren't you a little teapot calling the kettle black here?
You can't prove a negative, tchotchke. And I have yet to see any evidence that any of the hundreds of gods humans have invented over the centuries actually exist. It's sheer arrogance to suggest that yours is the only true god.
And if you want me to live by the tenets of your god, you better give me something besides 'You gotta have faith.' I'm not trying to get you to "see" anything, I"m trying to get you to stop forcing your beliefs down my throat and legislating your (im)morality.

we cant prove something dosent exist cuz it dosent. we can only prove things that exist and tts ur job and u failed at tt
and where is ur prove tt the bible is not a myth
where is ur prove that god is not a man-made character
where us ur prove that god exists
prove ur part first and then come and question our opinion and again we cant prove something that is non-existant
we are trying to get u to see tt there is NOTHING to see
self-pawned haha

We are trying to get religious people to see that by blindly believing in something that is so full of hate, you are actually hurting the human race. You are trying to dumb down science with pseudo science creation fairy tales,
you are trying to discriminate against an entire section of our population because you think homosexuality is wrong,
you are trying to FORCE your beliefs on us through legislative means,
you are constantly insiting violence on those who don't believe like you do,
you are trying to take away the freedoms of this country "for the children" by censoring free speech,
you are trying to force women to give up command over their own bodies by trying to outlaw abortion and birth control,
you are trying to worm your way into the judical system by mandating Christian treatment for drug addiction (AA, NA),
Do i really need to go on? This is just the tip of the iceberg...

I'm just trying to get both sides to know that we are all agnostic whther we like that fact or not but atheists win by default when it comes to proof. Faith will never equal proof or truth to those that seek the truth from proof
