problem with belkin usb hub?

i have an old belkin F5U221 2.0 4-port usb hub that i was recently using for my computer. It was working fine up until a week ago when we had a power outage and the next day when i started up my computer the belkin hub now shows up as an unknown device, i tried doing the hardware scan in device manager, tried updating the driver, even reinstalled XP and nothing seems to work. When i look at the properties it says No drivers are installed for this device. Should i just buckle down and get a new hub or does somebody have any suggestions? I haven't been able to find any drivers for this hub online and belkin doesn't list it on their site anymore.
