When you ask someone "How are you?", do you really care how they are?

    I don't really actually care how they are, but it's a way to start a conversation if you wanna talk to them.

    I only ask if I care. I don't see the logic behind asking then zoning out. It wastes everyones time.

    Not really, just being polite. If I new that a person was sick or something then yes I would care.

    LOL I always wonder this...

    I don't even ask this question because I think it's stupid. Hardly anyone is going to be honest when they answer this question soo I don't ask.
