I was 9 and had a paper boy job standing on the corner yelling Leader, Get your Leader here. My best sale day was the day JFK was killed, I sold over 200 papers and made a nickle for each one. After I sold my papers, I walked 4 miles along the railroad tracks rain, snow, or extreme heat to my home where me and my siblings had to take care of our livestock and clean out stalls before we got to clean up for supper. Then with only 2 hours left before bed time, we did homework. My Life as a kid SUCKED!

I was delivering newspapers at 5:30 every morning in the 6th grade, 12 years old.

worked on farms as far back as i can remember but my first legal job was at 16 in 1997 at taco bell i got $8 an hour

Well I did a paper round in my early teens :p

My first "proper" job though was a Saturday one when I was 16 in a discount book shop.
