Needle Phobia Maybe!?!?
ok so I have to give myself progesterone injections (itramuscular) and this is my third time....!!.... so today as i was about to insert the needle i got lightheaded and by the time i was done the room went black......i was about to faint before i even put the needle in...!!!!!! But when sumone else does it IM FINE!!!! Whats the deal!?

Its probably because you know its gonna hurt and you control when its gonna hurt, and you dont like inflicting pain on yourself.

I can't look at the needle when someone gives me shots, draws my blood, etc. Some people just can't see it actually happening, just let someone else do it from now on!

drink plenty of fluids before hand...try not to put your forward too much during the shots and keep a cold wash cloth near by,.,.
