Thank you Keith for sharing the undying love your sister must have for you-- I'll bet she was thrilled to be doing something hand in hand with you-- It's so wonderful when you hear of families doing a kindness for one another-- We all hear plenty of the complaining & neglect-- So your question is quite refreshing--.My husband & I have 4 grown children with homes of their on right here in Houston, & we are no longer able to physically do what we once could. They are all there for us, if we need them, but we have a couple that stay in close touch & see a service we need without our asking. Now that's love that really makes us feel special & appreciated. We have had a great day with the Lord today & I pray that God grants you & sister many blessings this coming week.

Was there a gas station down the road she stopped at to use the facilities?

My brother is only 20 miles away and has not been here for probably 8 years. You are blessed to have someone who cares about you so much. Don't forget to give her a hug.

    Hi:

Not to many family would do something like that.

Most people in this world could only dream about having a thoughtful wonderful family. You are blessed with that privilege.

My day was just like any other day... nothing special going on.

    Good Luck

    "Overwhelmed" describes it very well.

My son came to visit. Arrived during the night so I put him to bed. The next morning I found him amid the wires of my car fixing my sound system. Something I had only mentioned in passing several conversations back.

It was a 350 mile drive.

Bless those grown children who still take time to honor thy mother & father.

Just make sure you remember to do something nice for her in return.

I made a big meal yesterday. Everyone ate it, all of it so it must have been good. They all got up and left with out a single thank you, or at least let me know it was good. It's important to thank and compliment the cook. Every time!

That's great - you need to do some special thing for your sister - like

write her a nice letter to show your gratitude and love.

I had a day like that last week - my daughter shampooed our carpets and readied our home for a visit from her uncle/my brother.

Your sister - my daughter - have a lot of love in their heart.

Would you mind giving your sister my address?

Kidding aside, you are a lucky soul to have such a wonderful sister. In this world we live in with families fighting, not speaking and such, to have a sister to do that is amazing. Please make sure she knows how special she is to you ( and me, if you give her my address)

That's how it's supposed to be.

When you finished thanking her, I hope you said a little prayer and thanked your parents too.

They raised good kids. Not an accident.

Truly appreciating her effort is just as important as the effort.

Proud that you have such a supportive family. She's a credit to your parents and the rest of your family... including you.

You are indeed one of the lucky ones. My sister came from someplace dark.
