What does the Bible say about contemp. Christian music tunes?
I can't find the verse I found awhile back that said that the music we use to worship God is not to have the same tune that the world uses. The verse actually says tune if I remember correctly, anyone have any ideas or know the verse? Thanks

Psalm 9 (Amplified Bible) 2 I will rejoice in You and be in high spirits; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High! Psalm 21 (Amplified Bible) 13Be exalted, Lord, in Your strength; we will sing and praise Your power. Psalm 28 (Amplified Bible) 7The Lord is my Strength and my [impenetrable] Shield; my heart trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song will I praise Him. Psalm 33 (Amplified Bible) 2Give thanks to the Lord with the lyre; sing praises to Him with the harp of ten strings. 3Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully [on the strings] with a loud and joyful sound. Psalm 40 (Amplified Bible)
1I WAITED patiently and expectantly for the Lord; and He inclined to me and heard my cry. 2He drew me up out of a horrible pit [a pit of tumult and of destruction], out of the miry clay (froth and slime), and set my feet upon a rock, steadying my steps and establishing my goings. 3And He has put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many shall see and fear (revere and worship) and put their trust and confident reliance in the Lord.

Don't worry, contemporary Christian music never uses "the same tune that the world uses." It always hits a sour note.

The Bible says nothing about contemporary Christian music tunes.
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord.

That it is incredibly sub-par and typically just a watered-down rip-off of secular pop music styles that have boring Christian lyrics injected into them.
