Antec 300 mid-tower + (2) Radeon HD 5870 + Zalman 92mm CPU cooler?

Will the following components fit in an Antec 300 mid-tower case?

Two Radeon HD 5870 graphics cards (CrossfireX)

Zalman 92mm CPU cooling fan/heat sink

I'm worried about clearance of parts, being able to close the case, etc.

Thanks!

Update:

I should have mentioned I'm planning to use a Gigabyte or Asus LGA1366 ATX motherboard, in case it matters.

Update 2:

Thanks for the help so far. I can't measure anything because this is all for a future purchase. :-)

I like what I've read about the Antec 300 case in terms of air flow and its quietness, which will suit my needs for a gaming/HTPC case. It has plenty of large fans, so even with the two cards, I'm hopeful airflow will be sufficient. I could go with my other choice, the Cooler Master HAF 922, but I was looking for something simple-looking without LEDs, etc. (Any other suggestions would be welcomed!)

Update 3:

Power supply being considered for this build is the Corsair CMPSU-950TX (950W), so power won't be an issue. :-)

Update 4:

Side question, then... Does anyone know if the red LEDs on the HAF 922 can be switched off (short of cutting the wires to them)? That'd make my decision a lot easier. Thanks! :-)

i'd be worried about that clearance too. even if you somehow managed to squeeze all that in there, how much airflow do you actually think you'd have?

just curious why you'd spend that much on those really nice components and skimp on the case?

you'd be better off looking at something like the CM Storm Sniper or a Lian Li PC-62B, which is a long mid-tower...

    good luck =D

regarding the HAF 922 fan LEDs...

"A front switch lets you turn off the fan’s LEDs" ( http://www.maximumpc.com/article/reviews/cooler_ma... )

looks like you're in luck =D

I just checked with ATI and they don't have the dimensions. But figure it can't be smaller than the HD4890 or the GTX 295, so you had better figure a clearance of 10.5" from the back of the chassis to where your hard disk sticks out in the cage or where the hard disk cage is. You might need an extra inch if the 12 volt 6 pin power connector is at the back end of the card facing the HD cage...this means you will need 11.5" from the back of the case to the HD cage. Also, consider you have to have at least two PCI x 16 slots with enough room to overlap what would have been plain jane PCI slots before. So you will need an SLI/Crossfire certified PSU. The wattage on each card is 188 Watts at peak, that is WORKING WATTS by the way, not the watts reported on the power supply.

So what you need to do is get your ruler out and measure things and see if you have the room.

the 5870's are 11 inches long.....your gonna have to open the case and measure....i believe they will fit though....the case is 18 inches from front to back....

the zalman should fit in there also....its 3 3/8x4 7/16x5 inches....the antec 300 is a little over 8 inches wide......

you will have to check the motherboard out also to make sure the cooler will fit.....make sure your 1st ram slot is cleared in case you get ram with big heat spreaders on them.......

it will be a tight fit but i believe everything will fit...but then you have to worry about airflow...those 2 cards slammed in there is gonna get warm....plus whatever cpu you run..like a quad core, plus if you overclock or not.....if you are unsure move up to the antec 900 for the extra 40 bux because everything will fit in there better than the 300......

as far as i can see there is only 1 led lite on the front...its a 200mm fan...dont know about cutting wires....i would just get a 200mm clear fan for the front.....here is a 200mm cooler master fan with a red led and it has a on/off feature....so i wonder if the case fan included in the case has the same feature......here is the fan im talking about......its 19.00bux....you could call newegg and find out through customer support line.....

The nice factor you'll do is to open up the case and degree the space from the growth slot within the again to the hdd cage within the entrance . The 5870 is practically eleven inches lengthy(10.eight). Another factor you'll do if it is not ample room, is to reduce from the hdd cage (you are no longer going to be equipped to put in a hdd in that slot besides with the 5870).
